Mastering the art of architectural photography
My name is Elvin Diego, and I am a photographer based in Southern California. In my architectural photographs, I try to deconstruct the building down to its bare bones and capture the initial design of it. I do this by shooting in high contrast day light in order to create harsh shadows that express a building’s certain design or pattern. This way, we are now focused on the core concept in which these buildings came to be.

My inspiration comes from a Hungarian Photographer, Lucien Herve, and his series of architectural photographs while working with Le Corbusier, a French-Swiss architect.

It is amazing that we humans have such power creating anything doable. At such immense scale that will stand for years to come. even when their creators are not longer living.
